The IT Series impact testers from Physical Test Solutions offer turnkey solution packages that include the basic accessories needed to get started immediately.

 
 

There is no need to figure out which “recommended” hammers, tools, and other accessories should be ordered — PTS includes everything!

 

In addition, PTS low-capacity impact testers feature an automatic release mechanism.

There are three types of pendulum impact tests: Izod, Charpy, and Tensile Impact.
The first two are the most common. As a practical guideline, Izod tests are more commonly used in low-energy applications for plastics and non-metallic materials, while Charpy tests are typically used for high-energy testing of metallic materials.

¿Que es un péndulo de impacto de gran capacidad? Es un instrumento de ensayo mecánico que utiliza un brazo con un péndulo pesado que se deja caer desde una altura determinada para golpear una probeta o muestra de material. La energía que el péndulo pierde al romper la muestra se usa para calcular la tenacidad o la resistencia al impacto del material. Esto permite ensayar materiales metálicos muy resistentes, como aceros estructurales, aleaciones o componentes industriales, sin que el equipo se deforme o pierda precisión.
