FM-LX Microhardness Tester

By adopting a load cell-based loading system, multi-stage load switching is possible. The load selection process has evolved from conventional dial operation to smooth touchscreen control. Any load can be selected at the time of ordering (within the minimum to maximum load range).

Equipped with a hardness conversion function, allowing converted values to different scales to be displayed simultaneously on the front panel during HV measurement.

The Vickers microhardness test measures the surface hardness of materials on a microscopic scale by applying a controlled load and measuring the size of the indentation left by a diamond pyramid. It is useful for detecting hardness changes in small, individual features.
